A private client entrusted me with interpreting their residence in the heart of Milan. This extraordinary city penthouse, spread across multiple levels and surrounded by a large planted terrace, boasts its strength in the brightness of its open and airy spaces. What is most surprising is the almost countryside atmosphere conveyed by the dark and irregular varnished parquet, the large fireplace, and the soft tones chosen for coverings, primarily in linen, from sofas to curtains.
Wood predominates throughout, even in the spacious retro kitchen, in the center of which stands a majestic counter. As an architecture photographer, I approached the photo shoot with my tilt-shift lenses and tripods with rubber tips to avoid damaging the interior parquet.
