As an interior photographer, I was commissioned by Sartoria Gemmati to capture their shop. Sartoria Gemmati boasts tailoring expertise and passion since the 1950s, starting with Donato Gemmati selling fabrics to tailors and shops. It evolved in the 1980s to include the sale of finished garments.
While photographing the showroom, Giancarlo, Donato’s son and the current owner, shared the family’s passion for clothing, which originated while he played with fabrics at home as a child. Today, he works daily to further enhance the ability to understand and meet the customer’s needs.
The workshop crafts made-to-measure clothing for both men and women.
